Fountain Design Build Services
Commercial Aquatic Engineering partners with you and takes full responsibility for designing, building, installing, testing, and supporting the water feature, as well as training your maintenance staff. This includes:
1. Design Coordination
We coordinate physical size with the functional requirements of the water feature, as well as coordinate how the fountain structure interfaces with surrounding architectural elements
2. Submittal Process
We develop a complete set of construction drawings, assemble product information and finish samples for review and approval
3. Project Coordination and Installation Planning
We meet with the on-site construction team to review how the water feature will be installed, how to sequence the installation process, project scheduling requirements, and any other project coordination needs that might exist
4. Installation
CAE’s own installation crews arrive on the jobsite with the required materials to do a complete installation of the water feature. We become the primary resource for consultation and coordination of the various support requirements needed to complete the construction of the water feature
5. System Training
We train the maintenance staff on the use and maintenance of the system, including the development of owner’s manuals
6. System Maintenance
We provide complete system maintenance services to assure the water feature operates within manufacturer specifications throughout the life of the equipment
7. Warranty Claim Support
We provide a service where we represent the owner with component parts manufacturers to assure timely service on any and all warranty claims that might occur
Fountain Consulting and Engineering Services
If there are project constraints requiring a bid process, or if you prefer to commit only to the construction documentation process up front, we offer a fountain design consulting and engineering service. This includes:
1. Design Development Package
Our engineers assist with the overall design process, providing expertise on important issues such as visual impact, sound emissions, splash containment, environmental impact, finish selection, maintenance and budget
2. Development of Bid Documents and Specifications
We provide you with illustrative and narrative reviews of the proposed water feature, including CAD drawings, product specifications, equipment sizing and selection
3. Construction Administration Services
We conduct progressive jobsite visits and reviews throughout the water feature construction process to assure all aspects of the design are carefully and skillfully implemented
